SALEF is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization established in 2003. Our mission is to help Protect Our Protectors by raising money for life-saving equipment, technology and training for our Police Officers. We also hope to assist in generating a positive and engaging relationship between the Police Department and the surrounding communities they serve.
We could not achieve our mission without you, our supporters! The Foundation raises money in a variety of ways. We present a series of annual events with silent auctions and raffles, build and foster corporate partnerships, apply for grants, receive endowments, support community programs and request donations from individuals and business owners. Your support has allowed the Foundation to accomplish its mission and provide those who protect us with some of their greatest needs.

Our volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of 22 hard-working members of the community and business leaders. The Foundation benefits from the board’s expertise in the fields of marketing, broadcasting, development and finance which keeps the Foundation on task, within its scope and moving forward. Volunteer board members not only donate their time and expertise, they also give generously.
