This year’s Back The Blue event will take place at the Kino Sports Complex (2500 East Ajo Way) on Saturday, October 26th.   Come meet the officers from the Tucson Police Department, Marana Police Department, U of A Police Department and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.  The officers will have  equipment and vehicle displays onsite, including the TPD helicopter.  Enjoy food trucks, vendors and a chance to win many great raffle prizes! More details will be posted soon.

Since 2016, proceeds from the Back the Blue Jeep Convoy have benefitted the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Foundation (SALEF).

Following the devastating murders of Dallas and Baton Rouge police officers in the summer of 2016, Ryan Armstrong, President of Tucson Jeeps, and Gabe Spurling, President of the DM Military Jeepers, wanted to rally the community together and show their support of Tucson’s local law enforcement.  Knowing their club members are large supporters of law enforcement, Ryan and Gabe, along with a small committee, planned and arranged the first BACK THE BLUE event in 2016 in a matter of weeks. The event drew incredible support from the Jeep community as well as the entire southern Arizona population.

The BACK THE BLUE Jeep Convoy is a public awareness campaign and invites all local businesses and law enforcement supporters to sponsor, donate and attend the event.  Every day, our law enforcement officers wear their badges and risk their lives to protect the communities they serve.

SALEF recognizes the incredible dedication of our police.  Throughout the year, SALEF likes to show our appreciation for their commitment to serving us by raising funds to provide critical lifesaving equipment, such as a bullet proof vests, technology and training which helps protect them.

For the past three years, Jim Click has sponsored this event and we’ve successfully raised over $22,000 for SALEF. Last year, the Back the Blue Jeep Convoy stretched down Interstate-10 over 500 strong!  To see the Jeep convoy rolling down the interstate as they fly their USA Flags, Thin Blue Line flags and Back the Blue decals is an amazing site!

Jeeps and off-road vehicle owners are invited to be a part of the convoy!
